Northern Dutchess Paramedics is Hiring an Insurance Specialist Near Rhinebeck, NY
Duties: The Insurance Specialist is a support role for our billing department. The job would include:
1) Verification of a patient's insurance coverage
2) Verification of patient's address
3) Mailing billing invoices
4) Act as a authorization request liaison for local hospitals.
5) Post insurance payments and prepare a Medicaid roster.
6) Report any insurance issues to the state.
7) Communicate daily with the billing supervisor and CFO.
Skills necessary for this position include computer entry, proper phone etiquette, ability to multitask, dependability and diligence with regard to job responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
